Blakely City Hall was a complete renovation of the existing space and the addition of a new space for the utilities department, complete with a drive thru window and a new meeting room for the City Council. My role as Project Manager included all phases of design including overall design, schematics, construction drawings, landscape design, bidding, and construction administration. Maintaining the integrity of the integrity of the original architecture while bringing the building up to current codes and standards was a top priority. I learned so much about the construction and bidding process while working on this project. Overall, I feel that it was a successful design and am glad to have been able to help provide the citizens of Blakely with a space they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
