Montgomery & Co. CPAs

After 20+ years in their N. Pleasantburg office, Montgomery & Co. CPAs needed more space and a better facility to grow their company.  I worked to combine their company's needs for an open, modern workspace while remaining sensitive to the private nature of their business.  Private offices were provided for more senior staff, while bookkeepers were given workstations in the open office area.  A collaborative area with fireplace and casual seating was designed adjacent to their break area for informal team meetings and one on one collaboration.  An education center for the company to host training and business coaching on various topics was also included.  Partners were given their own executive suite with waiting area and access to administrative staff.  As project Architect and Interior Design Professional, my goal was to incorporate a modern aesthetic and color palette that will serve the company for years to come. 

As the Architect of Record, I was responsible for every aspect of the design of this building from concept to construction administration.  Seeing this project (that was my "baby" for two years!)  come to fruition and watching the design go from lines on paper to a tangible, three dimensional reality was extremely fulfilling and rewarding.  It is the essence of why I love what I do.
